An editable content page is any page you see in your Perch control panel when you navigate to Pages. These are the pages Perch sees as pages.

A master page is a type of template for creating Perch pages. Master page templates live in
/perch/templates/pages/. You can use these templates to create multiple editable content pages via the control panel.
While master pages are perhaps more commonly used on Perch Runway sites, you can use them on standard Perch sites too:
In Perch Runway, you can add routes directly to master pages and use them without creating an editable content page. This is useful for sitemaps or even the detail view of a list/detail pattern if you don’t need to have any content regions on it and want to manage it in a separate file.
